How is everyone doing? We hope everyone is excited for the warmer weather ahead. To celebrate the arrival of summer that is soon to be upon us, we are glad to announce there will be two Bazaar Ramadan (BR) to be held on two Saturdays namely on 3 and 17 June 2017 respectively from 15h00 to 19h00 at 48 Rue de la Faisanderie 75116 Paris. (It really is just a stone’s throw away from the Malaysian Embassy in Paris).

BR is organized by PERWAKILAN Paris with the hope of promoting Malaysian as well as the region’s culinary delights in Paris after the success of the inaugural bazaar held in 2016. During the BR, we will be serving among others, Stewed Chicken, Frozen Beef Rendang, Pisang Goreng, Satay, Nasi Lemak, Laksa Johor, Ayam Percik, Ikan Bakar, Nasi Kerabu, Ikan Masak Asam Pedas, Pulut Panggang, Kuih Seri Muka, Talam Keladi, Apam, Karipap, Tapai & lots of other good delicious food could be savoured. Just thinking of these wondrous foods can work up an appetite.

If you want to beat the crowd and the queue, the organizers have you covered. There are TWO links to pre-order the food online which can be found below. Please note that the closing date to submit these Pre-Order forms is Friday, 26 May 2017. Do bring enough cash for the event.

Frozen food would also be available for those who’d want to stock up on their Beef rendang and favourite kuih (delicacies). Do swing by and support our fellow Malaysians. The 2017 Annual General meeting will be held on Sunday 23 April at 16h00 at the Malaysian Embassy multi – purpose hall.

We would like to encourage members with time and talent to join the executive committee.

Please ensure that your membership is up to date in order to vote and to stand for elections.

Membership renewals will not be accepted during the AGM.

A lot of you have signed up for our annual MAF Diwali celebration tomorrow, thank you for your support!

MAF is officially closing the registration form.

The program for tomorrow will be as the following :

12.25pm : Arrival of MAF’s guests and friends of Malaysia.
12.40pm : Arrival of His Excellency Datuk Abdullah Ibrahim.
12.45pm : Welcome speech by President Yap Choon Choong.
12.50pm : Opening speech by His Excellency, Dato Ibrahim Abdullah.
12.55pm : Feast begin.
14.00pm : Cutting of Diwali cake by His Excellency and President Yap.
14.15pm : Performance by Mr Syazwan (saxophone) and Mr Jun Win (guitar). Members may join in, pls bring your own trumpets, drums, music accessories (to sing, please bring your guitar notes and notify Jun Win in advance : sjunw@hotmail.fr)..
14.30pm : Bollywood singing and dancing by all.
15.00pm : Prize giving ceremony for the best costume competition.
